ofsadmin July 29th was our 4th annual golf event fundraiser. We want to thank all the people who played, all the people who came for the banquet, and everyone – our volunteers and the staff at Foxfire – who helped us run such a great event!

Please visit the Uno’s in Fayetteville the weekend of September 23rd and 1724th. Print this coupon, bring it with you, show it to the waitstaff, and Uno’s will donate 20% of your bill to the Okinawan Friendship Society! We want to get the coupon into the hands of as many people as possible, so please share this post with your friends and encourage them to visit as well. The coupon also went out in an email to all the members of our mailing list, so please open our latest email.
Additionally, we’ll have a booth in the lobby on Saturday the 23rd from Noon until 8 PM. We hope to introduce OFS to the public, and let them know about the services we provide to the community.

r parents received a gift to share for the holiday season. OFS, in cooperation with CNY Karate and Agile’ Marketing Services, provided the children and their parents with customized photos with holiday backdrops. They could choose from several different holiday or winter backdrops, and add a sentiment like “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays” if they wanted.
“It’s one thing to share casual snapshots made with your cell phone,” says Marvin Labbate, director of Central New York Karate. “But these are professional prints. Parents love to share these with relatives and friends, and to enclose them with Christmas cards. It’s an extra value we can add to the karate program. Our ultimate aim is to be a blessing in peoples’ lives. This is one small way we can do that.”
